Turns out, I had disabled steam input on my pc for ffxiv because i used ds4windows. i even reimaged my Steam Deck and re-installed everything and it still doesnt work correctly. Built-in controller isn’t working at all when it isn’t docked with the 360 controller plugged in. Open the Steam client in desktop mode (the Desktop client just like on Windows).
